Allergen Information

Meals are nutritionally balanced and we encourage students to try new foods in a calm supportive environment with staff. Students dine with their tutor/key stage group. Students are given a choice of different meals, snacks, salads or a vegetarian option. A variety of desserts are provided daily.

Lunches are ordered by the Academy a week in advance; therefore we advise that you send your child in with a packed lunch for the first week. We require one weeks’ notice if you wish to cancel meals.

Free School Meals

To check your entitlement, please contact the academy office. Until confirmation of free school meal entitlement is received, all meals taken must be paid for. Where debt arrears have exceeded two weeks we cannot continue to offer a meal for your child.

Parents of students who are not entitled to Free School Meals can opt to take a lunch at the Academy or provide a packed lunch. Wellspring Academy Trust promotes healthy eating, please refer to our Packed Lunch Guidance for further information.
